Remembering
|
I remember one night,
Sheltered by the moon's light,
Dancing so close together,
Not wanting to be with any other,
Singing the sweet chords,
As our feet crossed the boards.
Just lay your head on my shoulder,
For love's flame shall not smolder,
Laying kisses on your cheek,
Of that moment I seek,
For the time we have been apart,
I wish we never had to depart.
Now I know what's at stake,
And I shall not again make that fatal mistake.
